Here are a few differences in each of the Models that you may find useful in deciding which one is for you. All of our restored Vespa Scooters have a 4 speed manual transmission and they each have a 150 cc (actually 145.45 cc and 148cc for Lambretta) engine.

All bikes have 10" wheel upgrade and upgraded electrical systems.

The Vespa VBB Sportique, is to many the epitome of the classic Vespa range. The curved bodywork and wasp like shape which gave the Vespa its name. These scooters are comfortable, reliable and useable in today’s traffic. They are a lot more refined than earlier models- the Vbb was the first standard Vespa to have a 4 speed gearbox.
Saying the above, if its daily use or long trips you require a scooter for- it would be wiser to choose a later sprint or super model. The later models have improved handling, performance, brakes, top speed and economy.
The Vbb is at its best as a Sunday afternoon cruiser- for pottering to the local café, beach or shows.
All our Vbbs are equipped with later 10 inch wheels and 12 volt electrics.

A LIS was usually silver with a small "silver" badge on the front of the legshield. It was actually quite an ugly color, so don't feel the least bit compelled here to use the original color. A great idea for this scooter is the 200cc upgrade. You even get special badges.

Note: the rounder front fender and longer headlight compared to other Lambretta models, as well as the unique panels. An LI usually had twin seats and the horncasting and panels painted a color that contrasted with the white body, but do whatever you want with yours.
